Welcome to University of Illinois Community Credit Union! We hope you’re as excited about our new name, new look, and new website as we are – because we’re making these changes in order to serve you better.
We began serving U of I employees in 1932, gradually expanding our field of membership to offer our services to a greater number of groups. In 2015, we were able to expand our field of membership to include the six Illinois counties. Our name change to U of I Community Credit Union (UICCU) reflects our commitment to serving both campus and community. We’re proud to be both your financial coach and teammate, and we want that pride to show!
With our new name, we’ve updated our look to showcase both our community and the U of I Community Credit Union team. We’ll also be rebranding and upgrading our branches as part of our commitment to continually serve you better. Our staff will also receive additional training so that our team can take an even more solution-oriented approach to serving you.
One of the things you asked us for was a website that offered a better user experience, more advanced technology, and access to more financial expertise. We listened! We hope our new website and our mobile banking capabilities (which we added in 2014) make your life easier. We’ll continue to add information to our site to help your financial needs and dreams become a reality, so check our Tips &Advice section often.
